Floor Lab is a Melbourne-based epoxy flooring contractor with over a decade of experience installing garage, commercial, and industrial floors across the city and Mornington Peninsula. We have completed more than 1,000 projects, and we back every one with a 7-year workmanship warranty.
Who We Are
Floor Lab was founded by John, a qualified concretor with a background in industrial coatings. The business grew from a focus on residential garages in Melbourne's inner suburbs to a full-service epoxy flooring operation covering everything from single garage floors to large warehouse coatings. We are a small crew that does the work ourselves. We do not subcontract.
How We Work
Every job starts with a free site visit. We measure the floor, inspect the concrete, check for moisture, and discuss finish options in person. We do not quote over the phone because concrete condition varies too much to price responsibly without seeing it. After the visit, you receive a written, itemised quote with a fixed price. No surprises on the day.
On installation day, we diamond grind the concrete to the right profile, repair any cracks, apply a moisture-tolerant primer, and build up the coating system. Every floor gets a UV-stable polyurethane topcoat as standard. We clean up after ourselves and leave you a completed floor, not a half-done job waiting on another trade.
Our Guarantee
Our 7-year workmanship warranty covers adhesion and delamination. If a floor fails because of how we installed it, we fix it. It is that simple. The warranty reflects our confidence in the prep work and the product system we use.
